Tips for Consignors (Sellers) & for Shopper (Buyers)
Tips for Consignors (Seller)
- Understand the tagging system. Ask how the half price sale and the "donate" system works.
On your tag, you designate if an unsold item can be donated to charity.
Make sure you know how to fill out the tag.(Mark your tag with the letter "D" for donate) See Tag Instructions .
- Refer to the Merchandise Prep information and prep your items.
- Mark the dates on your calender for drop-off, presale and pick up. Start tagging now! It takes some time to prepare your items for sale and you may need some additional tags as you find more items your children no longer use.
- Bring items in excellent condition, prepared as requested.
Items are inspected at drop off and unacceptable items will be returned to you.
- Think carefully about your price - don't overprice.
- If you do not have a Paypal account, please bring a self addressed stamped envelope at drop-off. We will mail your check to you in this envelope.
If you forget, we will have envelopes for sale at $1.00 each.
Tips for the Shopper / Buyer
- Understand the tagging system.
- Be a volunteer so that you can get a presale pass - it's fun, easy and you get first pick of all the bargains. There are 2 presales, 6:30pm for volunteers and 7:30pm for consignors.
You do not have to be a consignor to volunteer, and you will enjoy helping others during the sale.
- Shop the ½ Price Pre-sale on Friday night for volunteers and consignors (all tags marked in red ink will be reduced half price!!!). Come back Saturday when everything is half price to the public.
- Bring payment (cash, credit card, debit card - sorry no personal checks at this time), your children's measurements and a stroller/shopping cart to carry all your goodies.
